Three Rivers College

Three Rivers College, founded in 1966, is a community college that provides accessible and affordable degrees, certificates, and career programs to thousands of students at four locations throughout Southeast Missouri.

Three Rivers Community College partnered with Symbiosis to redesign 100 courses using the Quality Matters rubric and a detailed alignment map. In addition, Symbiosis collaborated with Athletics Coaches to redesign, align, and track the program outcomes for the Student Athlete Character Program.

Systematic Course Redesign

• Redesigned 100 courses using the Quality Matters rubric as a benchmark
• Applied detailed alignment maps to ensure course objectives and outcomes were properly structured
• Maintained focus on accessibility and affordability consistent with the college’s mission
• Created courses suitable for diverse student populations across multiple campus locations

Athletics Program Development

• Collaborated directly with Athletics Coaches on the Student Athlete Character Program
• Redesigned and aligned program components to improve effectiveness
• Developed tracking systems to monitor and assess program outcomes
• Integrated character development goals with athletic program objectives
